Not a minute to waste... as soon as we picked up the rental car and made it to the house (thanks to our GPS system - definitely worth the extra upgrade!!) we headed to the beach. Sally was kind enough to lead the way to La Jolla. As you can see, the chilly breeze wasn't enough to keep Logan out of the water.
After we had our "fill" of the beach, we took a stroll along the walkway that followed the La Jolla coast. The kids were fascinated by the sea lions and so excited to play in the tide pools. We chased hermit crabs and found sea shells. Dallin and Logan loved to play in the waves. (unfortunately, Dallin lost one wave battle and came out drenched - he didn't like that)
