I received new snowshoes for Christmas from my Mom and Dad this year. Before I even opened the present, Heather, Jared, James and I were planning a snowshoeing trip (I was planning on borrowing Ilo's snowshoes). I was so excited when I opened the package! Our trip was planned to go to Georgetown towards Guanella pass. 
It was bitter cold outside (eight below zero), but we bundled up and started up the trail.
