Snowshoeing to Naylor Lake
I received new snowshoes for Christmas from my Mom and Dad this year. Before I even opened the present, Heather, Jared, James and I were planning a snowshoeing trip (I was planning on borrowing Ilo's snowshoes). I was so excited when I opened the package! Our trip was planned to go to Georgetown towards Guanella pass.
Copper Mountain Ski Day
Once we got to the resort we buckled in and got in the lift line. Logan had never been on a lift before, so we talked him through it and he did a great job getting off the lift. James and Lance took off down the mountain while Logan and I slowly made it down the mountain at our own pace. Logan made it down one short slide and fall at a time. We had a long lunch break and headed up to the mountain again. Logan was getting tired and cold. I boarded ahead for a bit while James stayed with Logan. After I made it down the mountain, there was no sign of them, so I took the lift up again hoping to see them on my second run down. As I was working my way down the mountain, I got a call from the Medical Center. As it turned out, Logan's head and neck were aching from all of his tumbles and the ski patrol took him down the mountain in the sled to the medical center to be checked out.
We look forward to our next ski trip soon, however, with a few changes from our experience today: go to a different resort with a small "bunny hill" for Logan to learn, possibly have Logan try skis instead of the board, and I will definitely be on skis next time around
(much easier for me).

So Today I am starting my very first blog. What should I write about? A typical day in the Munsey home? Well, here is one for you. Dallin has always been a bit curious about his Dad's clippers and apparently took them in his room late one night to see what would happen if he used them on himself. I guess it really didn't matter that mom has repeatedly told him not to touch the clippers... maybe this made it all the more enticing. Anyhow, after the boys were in bed for the night, the clippers in the hallway and the small pile of red hair on my bathroom floor made me wonder what sort of damage he did to himself. The next morning, we discovered that it was definately noticeable. When I asked Dallin why he did it, he replied, "I wanted to see what would happen."
